Aladin El Kholy (EG)
Comes from Egypt (El Mahalla) and became a famous professional dancer after numerous appearances on Egyptian television as well as performances in the Gulf, Europe and USA. During his studies at the sport university in Cairo where he graduated, he began his professional career as a dancer in the famous Balloon Theatre in Cairo. In 1983 Aladin was awarded the title of best dancer of all Egyptian universities by the Egyptian state. In 1988 Aladin came to Germany and graduated here (in Cologne) in Educational Sport. He writes choreographies for many dancers in Germany and Switzerland, manages the group "El Mahalla" " Ensemble Aladin" and teaches in his empathetic and temperamental way throughout the whole of Germany, especially in Cologne/Bonn and since February 2002 in his own "Dance Studio Aladin".

Azad Kaan (TR)
A.K. is a prof. graduate dancer, pedagogue of dance and choreographer for contemporary and oriental dance arts from Turkey. A.K. belongs in his young age because of his huge expert knowledge in dance to one of the most successful and well-known teachers and choreographers for classical and contemporary oriental dance in the whole world. BDSS Sabrina Fox (USA)
Sabrina Fox has been a student, performer and instructor of Tribal Style belly dance since 1999. Coming from a dance background in all classical forms of dance, she discovered Tribal Belly dance and placed all her passions, focus and study into the art form. Well versed in American Tribal Style belly dance, ATStm she teaches weekly classes, and hosts a gathering of dancers bi-monthly for practice and dance community connectedness in the dance form, with the intention of maintaining a positive environment for dancers to come together create and connect. also bringing awareness to the public of an otherwise underground dance art. Sabrina teaches her own style of Tribal-Fusion Belly dance for the big stage, combining belly dance techniques with traveling footwork, contemporary dance, and Jazz technique, creating Improvisational cued combinations, and choreographies for students and her San Diego Tribal-fusion dance troupe Atash Maya. Sabrina is Certified and is a practitioner of American Tribal Style belly dance, Vinyasa flow Yoga, and bodywork. so has a fine tuned knowledge of posture, proper alignment for clean technique, and dedicates herself to teaching a safe practice of dance for the long term dance enthusiast. |
Silvia Salamanca (USA/ES)
Silvia Salamanca (Flamanco-Gypsy Tribal Fusion) is a life-long dancer from Mallorca, Spain! Silvia graduated at the age of nineteen as a major in ballet and performed professionally as a modern dancer in major Europe festivals with the contemporary dance company of the University of Barcelona. She started her career as a belly and Tribal dancer in 2001. With her work in the field of Zambra Mora (spanish gypsy-oriental dance fusion) Silvia has gained international recognition and is currently invited to teach workshops and perform in major festivals in Europe and across the USA. Nika Mlakar (SLO)
Nika Mlakar started her dancing career as a very young girl by means of roller skating. She participated in a school-dancing group in the primary school and later joined the Terpsihora Dancing Club dancing various forms of dance (hip hop, modern, show, belly dance). Her passion for dancing and hard work have awarded her with many prizes and titles: several successive titles of a Bellydance National Champion in junior and senior category, the title of a Junior World Champion in the classical belly dance in Moscow in 2008, three times the title of the Bellydancer of the World won in Germany in the junior and senior category and the first prize award at the prestigious Bellydance Superstar Junior Contest in Blackpool. As regards the modern dancing technique, her dancing was awarded with three bronze medals at national competitions and two silver medals at world championship contests in junior and senior category. Her favourite dance is belly dance. Her first teacher was a renowned Italian dancing teacher Simona Minisini. In addition to regular training sessions led by Manca Pavla and Irina Stankovich, Nika currently participates in dancing seminars taking place around the world and in Egypt; these seminars are organised by renowned dancing teachers (Rachel Brice, Raqia Hassan, Randa Kamal, Bozenka, Sonia, Sharon Kihara, Sadie, Heather Stants, Mira Betz, Saida, Kami Liddle...). She led her students to win the title of the European Champion in the category small groups - adults and the title of the European Champion and the first runner-up at the World Championship in the category group-adults-formations. She put on stage her first orient show Layali al Sharq. During the year she regularly teaches in Nova Gorica and Ljubljana. |
Sarasvati (UK) - Bellydancer of the World 2014
Sarasvati Dance is exceptionally talented multi award winning oriental dance artist and the winner of the "Belly Dancer of the World" 2014 organised by Leyla Jouvana. Sarasvati is based in London and performs regularly for private parties, weddings, charity & corporate events. Known for her creative style, gracefulness, class and high standard Sarasvati is constantly seeking to explore new ways of self development and expression as an artist. Sarasvati began her journey with Oriental Dance 7 years ago in the UK where she was introduced by her former teacher to various folkloric styles originating from Egypt. Sarasvati also teaches regularly in the UK and she always tries to bring her students skills into the new level through application of different techniques and choreographies.

Foxycat Alice (Hongkong)
Foxycat Alice started dancing The Traditiona Chinese Peacock Dance at the age of 4. She has created the unique Peacock Fusion Belly Dance in the world since 2012. The ' Foxycat Dance Tribe ' was found by Alice in 2010.
The Traditional Chinese Peacock dance was her first performance on the T V Ban Na, China when she was 5 years old. She choreographed her first performance when she was 8 years old. We can see that she got talent in Dance. FoxycatAlice jumped in Jazz class in her youth. Then for variety her dance style and knowledge, she took the Ballet, Poping, Belly dance and Pilates classes Since 2006. FoxycatAlice traveled around the world to develope the Tribal Fusion Belly Dance with many Master teachers. She has been invited to perform at Belly dance festivals and dance shows wordwide. Alice has traveled to Germany, the USA, Singapore, Japan, China, Vietnam for international Belly dance performance. She has been invited as a member of panel judge in the competition of Belly dance in Vietnam 2013. She was the only dancer who from Hong Kong got a interview of the Vietnam Thế Giới Văn Hóa Online ' and "Hagalla Das Tribal - Fusion - Belly - Dance Magazin" in Germany . As her major was in fashion design, she loves to design and sew her costumes. She was a make up artists before she decided to be a full time dancer, she was invited for the cosmetics introduction and fashion shows,a Beauty Contest 2001-2005. Now FoxycatAlice also offers the stage make and image design. ' Tribal Kong (孔) ' is the Only International Festival of Tribal Belly Dance in Hong Kong, founded by FoxycatAlice since 2014 . It is to build up the Tribal Fusion Belly dance Community of Hong Kong and to communicate with the overseas and local teachers and dancers. Mor Geffen (Israel) - Bellydancer of the World 2014 Folklore & Tribal
Mor is a multi-style ethnic fusion dancer (tribal fusion, barefoot flamenco/flamenco arabe, gypsy oriental, vitage fusion with hula hoop, silk road dance) a dance and pilates instructor winner of several international oriental competitions (2011, 2013), Bellydancer of the World 2014 in Folklore & Tribal, member and founder of the oriental dance company known as "Sitara". Mor is peforming with international well respected music artist in israel and europe.
Mor started to dance 15 years ago with weekley trainings of ballet, modern dance, jazz and improvisation, living in the middle east inspired her to discover the magical world of ethnic fusion dance and music deciding to dedicate her life to this art form.

Vanesa Moreno (ES)
Vanesa Moreno is a spanish bellydance teacher, coreographer and dancer. She created "Fusión Oriental" in 2005, making Festivals, workshops and regular classes in Gijón (Asturias). Since then she has been called to be teacher and dancer in many Festivals and diferent events in Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Málaga, San Sebastián, Valencia,...) organized by Samara Hayat, Munique Neith, Esalim, Victoria Ivanova, Analia Alfonzo, Ivana Michlig,... and Egypt ("Ahlan Wa Sahlan" - Raqia Hassan's Festival - Cairo).She began dancing Ballet when she was only 6 years old. Also studied flamenco, tango, salsa, zouk,... She is also prepared in music, becoming a musicologist by Oviedo University.Vanesa never stops learning from great teachers and dancers of many different countries.

Mayyadah
Mayyadah has been teaching since 1995 and organising high quality shows in Germany since 1997 - she can look back on many years of successful appearances here and abroad as well as many years working as a teacher and dancer in Egypt. Since 2001 she has been the lead dancer and choreographer of the El Saherat ensemble which has gained an international following. With her dance partner Amir Amareen she has successuflly performed in Brussels, San Fransisco and at all the major events within Germany, inlcuding Leyla's Oriental Dance Festival. Mayyadah is a born teacher with a partiular passion for choreography and also for being a mentor to other up and coming dancers. In 2008 she was formally recognised for her services to Oriental dance in Germany. Mayyadah's own performance style is unforgettable and spellbinding, always surprising and ringing the changes - above all the height of skillful interpretation of the dance through top class choreography. Payal (Indien)
- Bellydancer of the World 2014 Solo & Duo Bollywood Payal Gupta hails from a diverse cultural background where performing arts is given immense importance and hence has been passionate about dance since the age of 7. She holds a degree in Bachelor of Engineering and taught dance all through her college life, but her passion for dance made her opt for a career shift only to make the world dance along with her. She also holds a record in the "INDIAN BOOK OF RECORDS" in the field of belly dancing. She is the only one in India to be specializing in the classical oriental style and believes that its important for one to create a strong base in it before moving on to another branch of this art form. She runs the largest school of Belly dance in south India, and also organizes the biggest Belly dance festival in India annually. She was Participant with co-star 'Sihi- Kahi Chandru' (regional film director, producer and actor) in the reality TV dance series 'DANCING STAR' 2014. "Belly Dance is still perceived as a dance form restricted to certain sections of the society in India but, this is what I aim at changing. My goal is to give Belly dance its due credit as an art form in India".
