One of the prominent promoters in Germany, one of our finest dancers, a choreographer of high degree and a patron of national and international dance talents. "Hagalla" is a still a young magazine, but already we ask ourselves, why didn't we interview Leyla Jouvana earlier? That she has many things to say and that she has worked hard all her life this and much more you can read on the following pages.
Neben Bauchtanz/Orient. Tanz, Tribal, Bollywood & Folklore ist auch eine Vermittlung von Kamelen und Feuerschluckerin sowie Schlangentänzerin möglich.
Oriental dance is the most feminine of all dance forms. Balm for the soul and healing for the body it offers a chance for self-improvement, physical health and psychic well- being. Many doctors recommend oriental dance to help with back problems, female problems and stress-related conditions. A dancer learns to accept herself as she is, to understand and be happy with her own body and her femininity.
Practicing and performing oriental dance allows us to gain self confidence, enjoy life and feel fit and healthy - inside and out. Every dancer develops in her own individual way and learns to express her personality and moods in the language of the dance while finding a point of calm and balance amidst the stresses of everyday life. As dancers we also learn to lose the media's artificial image of what a woman's figure should be and to reject age prejudice -this dance is most definitely for all ages and sizes and as the saying goes, you are only as old as you feel!
