"Bellydancer of the World"

& Show-Acts with Worls-stars & a big Fair in Duisburg´s Rheinhausenhalle

Dancers from all over the world have already registered:
China, Canada, USA, New Mexico, UK, Russia, Lithuania, Czeck-Republic, Slovenia, Serbia, Austria, France, Belgium, Netherland, Greece, Hungary, Scottland, India, Germany and many more

Disziplins
Classic-oriental, Folklore, Oriental-Fusion/Phantasy, Tribal, Bollywood

Classic-oriental
For example: Raks Sharki, Oriental-Pop, Vails, Bottomdances, Takseem, Drum Solo, Zimbeltanz. Erlaubt in dieser Disziplin sind auch Balady auch Klassische Routinen mit kurzen Fokloreparts und Utensilien für das Entree, etc.

Foklore: Egyptian, Arabian, Turkey, Balkan, Asian
e.g. Dances with a stick, candlestick / Shamadan, Melaya Leff, towels, tambourine, sword (Bedouin dances, saber can also include fusion or Tribal). Dabke, Muwashahat (Arabic-Andalusian, Moorish Hoftänze), Bambouti / spoon dance, dervish dances / Tanoura, gypsy dances, Karshliamar, Gawazee, Hagalla, Persian, Uzbek, Tajik, Zaar, Saudi / Khaleegy, etc.

Tribal/Tribal-Fusion
Allows all Tribal styles with and without utensils, Fat Chance Belly Dance Style, Tribal Fusion styles: Tribal Breakbeat, Gothic, Tribal-Saber & dance floor, etc.

Oriental Fusion/Phantasy
Oriental Mix with eg Spanish / flamenco, rumba, tango, jazz, modern dance, Afro, Samba, Bellywood (Mix Oriental and Bollywood), acrobatics, dance with Federboa, lights dance, dance Pharaoh, Isis-veil that veils all the dances, fan veils etc. Attention Orient. Share part outweigh or at least 50%!

Bollywood : Indian Dance & Bollywood
IMPORTANT: Depending on the applications can also have multiple disciplines will be assessed.

Categorys - Solo male/female, Duo male/female, Group (3-7 Persons), Formations (minimum 8 Persons)
Classes:

Childs until 6 Years, Juniors until 11 Years (depending on applications, may be assessed together)
Juniors (12-15 Years), Maingroup: 16 - 54 Years, Seniors at least 55 Years.

Music (GEMA-free!)
Solo / Duo approximately 3.3 min and max. 5 minutes for groups / formations (depending on the number of visitors may be shorter). Note: Royalty-music only, ie no (English) songs from the charts. Music is mostly oriental be! Classical & Percussion is also allowed.

Ranking
Is rated
1. a) the choreography (internal or external choreography allowed, but must be called

d) synchronicity / synchrony in duo / groups / formations
2. Broadcasting
3. Costume & exterior appearance. (It is not on the high value of the

Groups / formations will be evaluated as a unit. Solo dance deposits within the group choreography should not predominate, but are generally allowed.

Process/Challenge/Rules
1. Round: "Freestyle": private dance (or improvisation Eigen-/Fremdchoreogr.), Then
evaluated. Announced only after all the disciplines in their own category.
2. Round: Only solo drum solo improvisation with live drums, with immediate
Assessment (there is no exit).
3. Round: "Duty": only solo / if enough time: Screening of some Pflichtbewe -
to neutral conditions specified by us music / drums. Compulsory movements
will be announced upon arrival / shown to misunderstandings on the
Stage to avoid.
To make it both for our viewers as well as for the participants as comfortable as possible and to make a dance marathon to avoid is evaluated only once and in the semi or quarter / Finale waived. The maximum number of points wins.

Show-Acts & Workshops with World-stars
During the contest, we will enjoy the dance of our jury deposits / celebrity guests. The WAS also with many other world-Stars will take place from 20.-30.11.09 in the Center for Oriental Studies. Dance, Leyla Jouvana, Claubergstr. 20-22 in 47051 Duisburg instead.

For our Members there are free dinks & food available!

Attendance fee until 15.10.09
As with all competitions, we also need to charge a fee for each departure (9, - per person per category, and discipline) and to participate license (9, - per person, once per year) raise. In addition, no further processing fee.
Price examples: for a one-time start paying 18 euros a person (9, - license + 9 Euro launch). If the person has for several disciplines or categories of logs will be used for each subsequent re-launch 9 euros calculated.
Participation fees from 15.10.09
